Word Scramble - Boggle Practice

Learner: Anisha                Learning Coach: Talia Morgan                 Date: 15th June 2016
Learning Area: iDevelop - Reading, Word Work
Learning Observed
Anisha was invited to choose between learning tasks and she chose to complete an alphabet boggle. Anisha had to use the alphabet letters to create any words she could think of. She was trying to spell words that would create the most points. The letters that are worth the most points are the letters that are trickier to use and Anisha was able to use one ‘z’ but was thinking really hard how to use others such as ‘q’ and ‘x’.
Evidence of learning

Anisha was able to make different words from the alphabet, trying to score the highest points - she even used the tricky letters like ‘z’.
Key Competencies/Vision Principles
Anisha is developing her Capabilities in Reading and Writing words. Anisha was Thinking really hard about what words she could make using the letters that are trickier to use. She was able to work by herself and Collaborated with her peers to think of different words she could make that would add up to the most points (Managing Self and Relating to Others).
